Double Barrel Habanero-Lime Butter Sauce
This is a very simple butter sauce recipe to make with your habanero peppers. Served over the top of your favorite dishes, it will melt into the meat and then melt in your mouth. We like to make extra to keep on hand in the refrigerator.
- 1-2 habanero peppers, minced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon grated lime zest
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- In a small bowl, mix together butter, garlic powder, lime juice, 2 teaspoons habanero pepper, and 2 teaspoons lime zest.
- Cover, and refrigerate.
- Serve over salmon or your favorite meat dish.
