Chocolate Habanero and Cream Cheese Stuffed Burgers Recipe
Chocolate habanero peppers do not taste like chocolate, but are so named for their dark brown color, which begins to resemble chocolate. They're very flavorful and bring a welcomed, slow burning heat to your cream cheese stuffing.

- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Buns for serving
- Sliced Avocado for topping
- FOR THE FILLING: 2 ounces cream cheese

Cooking Directions
- To a large bowl, ground turkey, cumin, Cajun seasonings, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, and olive oil. Mix well, but do not overmix.
- Form into 4 large burger patties and set aside.
- Prepare filling by combing cream cheese, 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning and chopped chocolate habaneros. Mix well.
- Divide the mixture between 2 burgers patties. Form the remaining patties over the tops of the mixture and hand form the burger patties closed. You are essentially encasing the stuffing into the burgers.
- Heat a grill to medium-high heat and cook the burgers about 6 minutes per side, or until the meat is cooked thoroughly through.
- Serve on buns! We topped ours with sliced avocado!
